At last count, MICCS™ had 13 pages of checklists, 329 different line items.  In these 13 pages, there are 4 sections:

Here's MICCS'™ first page:

S See the 1B03 line, above?

Here's what we did, below left!

We methodically went through our chapters and made sure they included /answered every MICCS™ line item.  We then placed a colored location label (other than black, ie., 1B03, below) above each different MICCS™ checklist answer. We then colored our answer with a different text font so that you can very quickly see where their question is answered, in our chapters!

"What the heck is 1B03?" you ask?  1B03 means the MICCS™ line item located in:

In this case, 1B03 is located on the first page of your safety manual, 4th paragraph down:
The above goals (and this Safety and Health Program) will be communicated to all employees and will assist management and non-supervisory employees in controlling hazards and risks which will minimize employee and personnel injuries, damage to customer's property and damage or destruction of Your Company Name property.

See our EXAMPLE below, from Page 1 of the MICCS™ Safety Manual Program

When you want to find where 1B03 is addressed/located in your manual, use Microsoft's "Find "Option (Ctrl-F). Type 1B03 in the "Find what:" box.  The computer will take you directly to location note  1B03. Then, you just look at the bottom of the page and write down the page number on your printed paper MICCS™.  In this example, 1B03 is addressed/located on page 1, 4th paragraph.

Here's the deal with MICCS™....

In your manual, if you address every line item , then you should PASS !

It's not arbitrary.  Those are MICCS™ Rules.   And OUR PROGRAM does just that.   It addresses all line items.

BUT!  When you submit your manual to MICCS™ for their review, you'll need to tell them EXACTLY where each line item is addressed, by page number and paragraph/section.  If you are off a paragraph or page,  and it's not exactly where you tell them it is, they will kick it back on you!  They won't search for it.  They are very meticulous, and you need to be meticulous as well.

OK, for starters, you need to do two things before you even think about submitting your safety manual to MICCS™:

 1)  Get the 13 page list.  PRINT IT UP.  Here's a link to the list:    MICCS™ 13 Page List  (or copy and paste to your browser::> http://www.miccs.org/storage/MICCS%20minimum%20criteria%20document%20.pdf )

You will need to write on this "hard copy" the page number AND paragraph/section where each checklist line item is addressed in your manual.  MICCS™ needs to know this when you submit your completed manual to them.

2)  You need to double check my work and edit ** your manual before sending your manual off to MICCS™.  Call me at 800-205-1050 if you encounter any discrepancies between my material and your 13 page list, before you submit.  I'll work with you to get it current and right.

**(edit??   What does he  mean "edit" ?   Keep this in mind: We provide you with a template that addresses all of MICCS™ line items.  But you may need to edit and "punch up" the template!  In some cases, editing is as simple as adding your emergency phone numbers!  Some of you may need to address other/more specific Company business situations in your manual that we are unaware of, things that make your Company situation unique).  If you have any questions, please call me (Frank) ~ 800-205-1050 .   I'll walk you through the process to make it as easy as possible.  No obligation!

(Note: Your Manual will look like the above, with the different colored font lettering.  Before you submit your completed manual to  MICCS™, DELETE the different 4 character location labels, like 1B03.  Then, change the colored text (The above goals (and this Safety and Health Program) will be communicated to all employees...) lettering in the document back to BLACK.

If you leave the instruction/location notes in your final manual and/or leave the text colored, MICCS™ will kick your manual back to you.

Also, where it says "Your Company Name" in the manual, we will put your actual business name in it's place.  This is not a "how to write " a safety manual.  It's already written, with your business name in the text!  BUT everything is editable (Microsoft WORD).  If you want to change anything, you can.

Here's a Table of Contents example of a manual we put together.  IF you need all 329 line items in your manual it will be close to 554 pages long.  Give us a call (800-205-1050) and let us know what you need to address in your safety manual.

The below 554 page manual will cost $499.90.

Plus we can get it to you within an hour or so, today.  And we are here to help you ANYTIME!

If you need to address fewer issues (than the 329) give us a call for a quote.
(Your Manual will not be a "split screen" like the above samples!).
